These Terms and Conditions govern the communications coaching, workshops, courses, and digital products provided by Richard Freeston‑Clough, trading as Your Unique Voice (“YUV”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them carefully. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

  • Workshops and courses

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website or Services if you breach these Terms. If termination occurs due to your breach, no refunds will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • YUV is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • YUV’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant Service or Digital Product

Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first so we can resolve it informally.

10. Severability and Waiver

If any provision is found invalid, the remainder of the Terms continue in full force. Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver of future rights.

11. Force Majeure

YUV is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, labour disputes, or third‑party failures.

12. Refunds & Cancellations

A. Consumers - 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period (Services)

If you purchase a Service online, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason.

If you cancel before work begins, you will receive a full refund within 14 days.

B. Starting Services Within the Cooling‑Off Period

If you ask us to begin work within the 14‑day period, you acknowledge that:

  • you lose your right to a full refund once the Service is fully performed

  • if you cancel after work has begun, you will pay a proportionate amount for work completed

Work is deemed to have begun when we:

  • schedule your session

  • reserve your date

  • prepare materials

  • carry out administrative tasks

  • begin any preparatory work

C. Digital Products - Immediate Access

By downloading or accessing a Digital Product, you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you do not wish to lose this right, do not download or access the content until the 14‑day period has expired.

D. Business Customers

Cooling‑off rights apply only to consumers. Business customers are not entitled to cancel once a booking is confirmed.

E. Services Not Performed With Reasonable Care and Skill

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may request:

  • repeat performance, or

  • a price reduction if repeat performance is impossible

F. Satisfaction Guarantee (Voluntary)

If you feel we have not reached the clarity or breakthrough expected, we will schedule a follow‑up session to refine what we have initially delivered. This does not replace your statutory rights.

13. Pricing and Payment

  • Prices are listed on our Website or provided in writing

  • Payment must be made before Services or Digital Products are delivered unless otherwise agreed

  • Prices exclude VAT as YUV is not registered for VAT

  • We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.

14. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • participate actively in coaching or courses

  • complete agreed tasks

  • provide accurate information

  • attend scheduled sessions or provide reasonable notice of cancellation.

15. No Guarantee of Results

Coaching, courses, and digital products are designed to support your development, but YUV does not guarantee:

  • specific outcomes

  • business results

  • financial performance

  • audience growth

  • revenue increases.

16. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, frameworks, videos, worksheets, and digital products remain the intellectual property of YUV.

You may not:

  • copy

  • reproduce

  • distribute

  • share

  • resell

any materials without written permission.

17. Website Accessibility Statement

YUV is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to follow WCAG 2.1 AA standards and continually improve accessibility.
